The Lillington family was primarily from the South of England (Dorset/Hampshire area).
Due to requirements of WWII, in 1940 Wm. C. (dob Aug 17 1898) transferred from HM dockyard Portsmouth to HM dockyard Rosyth, Scotland, along with 2nd wife and sons Norman,Peter and Philip, and step-daughter Jeanne. Other sons, Terry and Leslie, were born in Edinburgh,Scotland.
The Harrison family originated in the Northeast of England
(Hartlepool/Billingham area of County Durham).
After marriage Kathleen (Harrison) Lillington, Norman and family travelled extensively (Singapore 2-1/2 yrs, Germany 2-1/2 yrs, and various places in England) due to his occupation (Royal Air Force, 23 yrs, 1948 - 1970).
Norman and Kathleen Lillington and their family finally settled in the Berks County area of Pennsylvania, USA in 1975, thanks to the sponsorship of brother- in-law Bernard H. Meck (see family tree)
